Knights College was honestly a surprise for me. I recall hearing that the developers had wanted to develop a medieval visual novel that was more ‘life’ than ‘fairy tale.’ Didn’t pay much heed to it until I really played it. This history is kinda interesting… wasn’t some AAA launch, just a small team there. Maybe that’s why the game feels personal.
It’s not like I’m in one action game. It’s rather … you train, you worry, and when the duel happens, it’s not really about swords. Half the time it feels as if one fights with oneself — as if meaning to show one’s not weak. That kind of surprised me. I picked a wrong dialogue once, and someone got cold toward my character for like 2 chapters. I actually felt bad.
